introduces its new product Aza-Direct® biological insecticide.
Aza-Direct controls a wide variety of insect pests and is registered on most food and forage crops. Aza-Direct is listed by the Organic Materials Review Institute (OMRI) for use in organic production. It can replace or enhance traditional chemical treatments and is therefore, beneficial to both organic as well as conventional agriculture.
The active ingredient, azadirachtin, is extracted from the seeds of the neem tree and is proven to be an effective insect repellent, antifeedant, and growth regulator. Aza-Direct also predisposes pests for greater susceptibility to other biologicals and insecticides, thus giving enhanced pest control. The azadirachtin compound in Aza-Direct is produced by an exclusive, patented extraction process resulting in a purified and highly bioactive active ingredient.
